Besides the regular programs of the organization, some major activities conducted this month are given below:
1) 11th Museum Day celebration with Santal Traditional food was organized on 8-9th December 2024 at Birbhum, West Bengal. On the occasion, an interaction session on Adivasi food was organized at RSV in which several experts from different parts of West Bengal and Jharkhand shared their experiences and knowledge on Santal food. Prof. Binoy Kumar Saren, Vice-Chancellor, Visva- Bharati was the chief guest of the session. The food festival was organized at the Museum of Santal Culture in which 30 different items of Santal traditional food items were prepared and displayed for sale by the villagers of Bishnubati and Ashadullapur. Santali play and cultural programmes were also organized on the second day to celebrate the 76 birthday of Martin da. One important work of this festival is, the whole process of the food festival has been documented from collecting the raw materials such as snails, vegetables, red ant to make 'hanow chipi' and preparation of roast meat etc to the complete dishes. The documentation was done by West Bengal Wikimedians. After successfully putting up the food stalls in the festival the women group used their profit money to visit Kolkata .
2) The cultural team of the Museum headed by Sanyansi Lohar participated in Bengal Biennale: Anatomy of a landscape, a study based on collective engagement initiative at Santiniketan.
3) Boro Baski and Bimal Baski participated in the workshop on Indigenous education in Manav Sangrahalaya in Bhopal organized by Muskan, the NGO working on children education among the adivasi and marginalized communities.
