The month of October was full of festivals in Bengal. Beginning with Durga Puja, the biggest festival followed by Laxmi puja, Kali puja, Deepawali and there were several local festivals. Muslim community celebrated their Fateha Doaz Daham festival. Santals also celebrated their third biggest festival Dasae. The government offices and schools remained closed these festive days. Despite the long Puja vacation some activities of the organization continued such as bio-farm, evening schools, village meetings, museum activities and campus cleaning programmes
Bishnubati
The museum campus cleaning was conducted by team Bishnubati. About 100 villagers cleaned the long grass, bushes and trimmed the branches of the road side trees.
Except during the festivals the coaching classes continued.
Like every year this year also the Dasae group from Bishnubati roamed around several Santal villages and danced in every family. And in return the women gave them the rice grains
Ghosaldanga
The students and teachers celebrated Deepawali by lighting candles at Prantik.
RSV school
The teaching, music class and nutrition feeding continued at RSV after the Puja vacations.
Kick for Help
The senior boys are given new boots. The Girls team members have already got them earlier. The boots are given for their good performance in the competitions of this year.
